I knew Bernie when I worked at Turner Construction Company. I remember him as a very nice person and proud of his family. My sympathy to all.

Bernard Newton was my boss on 2 major projects. He was my mentor. He introduced me to the intricacies of the profession we both shared. Above all, he was a great friend of mine.

He was my Boss on the Standard Oil Bldg construction in Chicago. I always respected him and enjoyed working with him - I remember they use to say he had his own baseball team with family members - a good guy!
