Bernard Bertin Noguès

Bernard Bertin Noguès, 86, of Kamuela, died at the North Hawaii Community Hospital on December 9, 2025. He was born in Houilles, France on August 18, 1939. He moved to the US in 1959, eventually settling in Hawaii in 1966, where he spent the remainder of his career as a teacher and administrator at the Hawaii Preparatory Academy until his retirement in 2012. He was an avid golfer, tennis player, and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Bradford; daughter, Adeline Scagni; brothers Jean & Bertin; and sisters Marise & Francoise. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary-Alice Noguès of Kamuela; children Mireille Urbani (Manjit Singh) of Indianapolis, IN; Marguerite (Alan) Heap of Kamuela; André Noguès (Dana Mitchell) of Ashland, OR; Marina Noguès (Bradford Cole) of Honolulu; Jean Noguès of Kamuela; sister Marina Kaiser of France; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Annunciation Catholic Church of Waimea on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Visitation at 9:30, remembrances and eulogy at 10:30, Mass to begin at 11:00. Private burial to follow. Gathering at his home at 2:00 pm. Aloha attire.
