FRANKLIN - Bernard "Bernie" Peller, gained his angel wings September 10, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and friendship at the age of 90.

Born to Celia and Bernard Peller on May 26, 1935. Bernie was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where his strong roots and values began. At the age of 18 he joined the US Navy where he proudly served his country traveling to many places across the world. After his honorable discharge, he returned home to Milwaukee and met the love of his life Rita (nee Palkowski) Peller. Married for 52 years, they had three children; Craig Peller, Scott Peller, and Renee (Tim) Robertson.

Bernie was a hard working man who enjoyed home improvement projects and took pride in doing things himself. He had a deep love for his family and friends. Bernie was a true social butterfly, loved to gather and chat over McDonald's coffee, dance to polka music, and spend time with his cherished neighbors.

He was a devoted grandfather and beamed with pride in his newfound role of being a great-grandfather to Alexander, Oliver, Elena, William and Madeline. Bernie's life was filled with the warmth of loved ones and the loyalty of lifelong friendships. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, his vibrant sense of humor and the stubborn streak that made him uniquely Bernie. He leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rita and their daughter, Renee. He is survived by his sons Craig and Scott Peller; son-in-law Tim Robertson, and grandchildren, Ryan (Kelsey) Robertson, Emily (Nana) Sarpong, Tony (Katie) Robertson, Kylie-Paige (Delano) Yoder, his goddaughter, Shelly (Dwight) Carlson, other survivors include many family and friends, including the Kelly family, Palkowski, and Peller families.
