Bernard E. Petrick, 87, of Moore Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ. He was the beloved husband of Judith Petrick (Voorhees). Born in Plains, PA, Bernard was a son of the late John and Tillie Petrick (Biniek).
Bernie's faith was an important cornerstone of his life. He graduated from St. Anthony of Padua seminary and prep school and was a member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Moore Township. He worked in sales most of his life, and later became a professional real estate inspector for Construction Service Co of North Jersey.
He had a special gift for bringing his family together, whether it was taking the kids fishing during their younger years or sharing in the joy of making homemade pierogies. Bernard also had a passion for golf and enjoyed memorable vacations in Jamaica, which brought him great happiness.
He will be dearly missed by his children: Cheryl Drzewoszewski (Russell) of Hampton, NJ, Lisa Thomson (Mark) of Brick, NJ, Michael Petrick (Suzanne) of Fort Gratiot, MI; grandchildren: Josh, Amanda, Krista, Tyler, Timmy, Christina, Michael, Jr., Jonathan and Elizabeth; great grandchildren: Zain and Payton; sister: Patsy Krukowski (Joseph) of Kendall Park, NJ; first wife: Annette Petrick Gentry (William) of Woodstock, VA. Bernie was predeceased by his brother: Leonard Petrick of Memphis, TN.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church - 696 Johnson Rd, Nazareth, PA 18064. Friends and Relatives are invited to call on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC.
