It is with sincere sadness and heavy hearts that we report the peaceful passing of Bernardo Villanueva Soto on December 15, 2025. Born on August 20, 1940, Bernardo beautifully navigated 85 years of life filled with laughter, love, and the everlasting bonds of family.

Bernardo was predeceased by his son Rosalio Villanueva, his mother Andrea Villanueva Soto, his father Santos Villanueva, grandson Franco Marin Villanueva, and sister Dorotea Reyes. Though their memories saturate the heart of our family, we find comfort in believing they are reunited once more.

Bernardo's legacy is carried forward by his loving wife, Maria Constancia Yanez Villanueva, his sons José Manuel Villanueva, Alfonso Villanueva, Bernardo Villanueva Jr., Dave Villanueva, and Daniel Joel Villanueva, and his daughters Maria De Los Angeles Villanueva, Andrea Elena, and Endelisa Villanueva. His love also extends to his cherished grandchildren Cesar Xavier Bañuelos, Donna Vanessa Bañuelos, Angel Josue Villanueva, Lizbeth Adrianna Ramos,

Conny Mary Marin, Coryna Maria Marin, Isabelle Cristal Villanueva, Rebekah Sophie Villanueva, Dave Jr. Villanueva, Linda Villanueva , Michael Villanueva along with great grandchildren Xavier Pollard, Olivia Bañuelos, Jacob Alexander Nash, Joshua Noah Nash, Jayliene Areola Álvarez Bañuelos, Jonah Prickett, and Jasper Rodriguez. Along with his "Lana's" Ewok Gizmo Villanueva.

Described as witty, charismatic, and funny, Bernardo was a beacon of loving care and hospitality to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His ethos of hard work, family support, love for God, and respect were ingrained in every life lesson he shared, shaping the growth and character of every family member.

Bernardo's legacy is a testament to dedication and the importance of family. His spirit, forever etched in our hearts, is a reminder of the important things in life. The family extends their invitation to those who wish to join in celebrating and honoring Bernardo's life. Bernardo Villanueva Soto, a revered family pillar, will be profoundly missed, yet his memory will continue to inspire and influence generations to come.
