My prayers are with your family.

I would like to express my deepest condolences. He produced two of my favorite movies. And this is really sad for me as well, because my Grandmother passed away Tuesday from a heart attack as well. Just know that God has called his angels back home, no matter how young, this life we have is only temporary. The life we have after that is eternal.

The Baader Meinhof Complex was one of my favorite films of 2008. My condolences go out to Bernd's grieving family and friends.

I am sorry to hear of Bernd's death, may God be with each of you in this time and always. I loved his movie The Neverending Story, my son's name is even Bastian!!

He is a genius to his work, in the wrong era. The beautiful movies he produced tells it all
