Archie, Cheryl, Hank and FAMILY:
I pray that the SWEET Sweet MEMORIES of "Nana Bern" sustain you ALL! You all have my deepest sympathy and it is my earnest prayer that your hearts are comforted from the outpouring of friends and family. I was so happy to see Bernice at the Melanin Market "Black History Parade" where she witnessed her beloved husband serve as Marshall. In the parade procession I was so happy to hear her classic, "Heyyy Shonda" and was saddened to hear of her transition two days later. You all will definitely remain in my prayers as you mourn, but know that LOVE is Eternal. ~LaShonda J. Holloway, J. D.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Sis Bernice Adams. She was one of sweetest ladies that I have ever met. She was always kind and pleasant to be around and her presence will be missed by many. May she rest in the eternal arms of our Heavenly Father.

Dearest Nana Bern, I can't begin to explain the shock and awe of hearing of your passing. I had just consulted you about a dream I had that bewildered you. I will miss our conversations, always beginning with hey love , and that infectious laugh. Ecclestastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Rest in paradise, until we meet again. I love you, Latrina "Brina" Davis-Hall.

Bernice was one of God's angels who walked among us. She was always had a kind word, a warm smile, and a sweet demeanor towards other people. Our family sends sincere condolences to Archie, the "children", and other family members. May the words of the Lord sustain you during this season of bereavement.
