Dear Jeanette and Family...We have known each other for many years and have wonderful memories of our friendship and being neighbors on 5300 South in Murray in the apartment house in front of the old smoke stacks. I was saddened when I came across the obituary for Bert when I was looking for a few other obituaries. I am sorry we were not there for you and the children. I remember Bert's laugh and sense of humor. He was a happy man and loved to share good stories. Even though it has been a while since he passed we want to send our love to you and the children.

I love and miss you dad. I miss the yodeling & animal sounds you always made. I'm sad we did not get to spend time together when COVID hit but I'm thankful for the time we did have. I liked going to the movies & park with the family. With you, Emrik, & Tasia gone the family outings aren't like they used to be. They're still fun & I'm glad we get together though. Just notice the 3 empty spots. I love you dad & miss you
