Bert will be remembered as a private man who enjoyed being home and tinkering around his house. Bert was a regular at Lou-Ann's Diner in Addison. He was a hard working man and a good father - his family will miss him greatly.
Bert is survived by his daughters: Teresa Simpson, Ann Simpson, Rochelle (Erik) Orr; sons: Donald Tohafjian, Benjamin Tohafjian, Bert Simpson Tohafjian, Michael Simpson Tohafjian; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Henshaw.
In addition to his parents, Bert was predeceased by sisters: Martha Clark, Stella Wood, Felina Simpson; and brothers: James Simpson, Jr., Leon Keagle and Edwin Keagle,
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm, Pastor Kevin Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Barnard Cemetery, Corning.
