Bertha B. Kulnick, age 94, is now at peace in the arms of her savior.

Bertha was born on May 18, 1931 to the late Raymond and Christina (Kresser) Thone. She graduated with the class of 1949 from Valders High School. On October 5, 1962 she married Charles Kulnick. Bertha was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valders. She was a part of the Mirro Heros Group and Senior Christians. Bertha was a fearless adventurer and an accordion player, patch sewer, dancer, gardener, camper, and traveler. She especially enjoyed spending all the holidays at her sister Marlene's house.

Bertha is survived by her sister: Marlene (Leonard) Kohlmann; sister-in-law: Mary Ann Thone; and special nieces: Penny Schneider, and Marlo Kohlmann; other relatives and friends also survive. She is preceded in death by her husband: Charles Kulnick; son: David Kulnick; parents: Raymond and Christina Thone; siblings: Betty Jane Thone, Ralph Thone, Audrey (Donald) Leicht, Margaret (Ronald) Wisnowski, Donald (Elaine) Thone, Raymond (Lorraine) Thone, and Kenneth Thone; and nieces and nephews: Cheri Sattler, Donna Leicht, Terry Kohlmann, and Jeffrey Thone.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bertha's memory be sent to Faith Lutheran Church made out to the Faith Lutheran Cemetery Association.

A Memorial service to celebrate Bertha's life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church in Valders with Pastor Dan Lyman officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice and Sylvan Crossings for all their care and compassion.
