Bertha Ruvalcaba

Bertha passed away on January 14, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Nochistlan Zacatecas on August 21, 1958 and was a Watsonville resident for 52 years. She accomplished her High school diploma, CNA certificate, and US citizenship. She worked as a custodian at UCSC for 20 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and liked rock collecting. She was the best grandma to all her grandchildren. She is survived by her four children: Gonzalo Jr, Delia, Ana, and David Gutierrez, her 99-year-old father, and siblings, Javier, Eva, Andres, and Elvia. She is preceded in death by Agustin Ruvalcaba Jr and Avelina Ramirez. She leaves a huge void in our hearts and will be missed forever. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30 at Mehl's Colonial Chapel from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be held on Friday, January 31 at St. Patrick's Church starting at 10:00 am, and burial to follow at Pajaro Valley cemetery.
