Bertha Treto Bañuelos

Dodge City - Bertha Treto Bañuelos, 43, passed away January 5, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on August 15, 1982; the daughter of Emilio Treto and Maria Treto Bañuelos.

She loved to spend time with her family, especially her children. Bertha worked as an assistant manager for Burger King in Dodge City. She loved to listen to music and care for her animals in her spare time.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.

She is survived by her parents Emilio and Maria Treto Banuelos; two sons Adrian Avalos, Pablo Avalos and one daughter Kimberly Avalos all of Dodge City. She is also survived by five brothers Gilberto Treto, Humberto Treto, Gustavo Treto, Sergio Treto, Valentin Treto and three Sisters Adela Treto, Maricsa Treto and Lucia Treto. She is preceded in death by her two brothers Emilio Treto and Fernando Treto.

Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 3231 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801 on Saturday January 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A Vigil service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 7:00PM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Memorials are suggested to Donor’s Choice in care of the funeral home. Dodge City - Bertha Treto Bañuelos, de 43 años, falleció el 5 de enero de 2026 en el Centro Médico Wesley en Wichita, Kansas. Nació el 15 de agosto de 1982, hija de Emilio Treto y María Treto Bañuelos.

Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente con sus hijos. Bertha trabajaba como subgerente en Burger King en Dodge City. Le gustaba escuchar música y cuidar de sus animales en su tiempo libre.

Era miembro de la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe de Dodge City.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Emilio y María Treto Bañuelos; sus dos hijos, Adrián Avalos y Pablo Avalos, y su hija Kimberly Avalos, todos de Dodge City. También le sobreviven cinco hermanos: Gilberto Treto, Humberto Treto, Gustavo Treto, Sergio Treto y Valentín Treto; y tres hermanas: Adela Treto, Maricsa Treto y Lucía Treto. Le precedieron en la muerte sus dos hermanos, Emilio Treto y Fernando Treto.

La misa fúnebre se celebrará en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 3231 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801 el sábado 17 de enero de 2026 a las 10:00 a. m., oficiada por el Reverendo Wesley Schawe. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Maple Grove en Dodge City. El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Swaim el viernes 16 de enero de 2026 de 2:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. Se realizará un servicio de vigilia el viernes 16 de enero de 2026 a las 7:00 p. m. en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.
