Marie Wehking 95, of
Decatur, IL passed away at 5:45 a.m., Monday December 4, 2023, in Fair Havens Christian Home.
A graveside service to honor Marie's life will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, December 8, 2023, at Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Odin, IL. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, December 7, 2023, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home., Mt. Zion, IL. Marie was born July 25, 1928, in Dillion SC the daughter of John and Roxie (Rogers) McCormick. She married Phillip Wehking on May 11, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2008. Marie was a member of Antioch Christian Church.
Surviving are her children: Carolyn Billingsley (Bill) of Mt. Zion, Gary Wehking of Long Creek, and Roger Wehking (Donna) of Calhoun, GA; brother: Shelby McCormick (Nancy) of Timmonsville, SC; sisters: Faye Farley of Alabama, Betty Jean of Darlington, SC, and Joyce Potter of Washington; grandchildren: Anthony Billingsley (Kay Ann) of McLean, IL Steven Billingsley (Alisha) of Prosperity, SC, and Christopher Wehking (April) of Springfield, IL; great grandchildren: Shelby Linville (Tyler), Matthew Billingsley (Caitlyn), Hannah Billingsley, Jacob Wehking, and Nicholas Wehking.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son: Keith Allen Wehking; three brothers and four sisters.
