Please accept my condolence and heartfelt prayers for the loss of Berthold. When someone we love dies naturally we look for comfort, (2 Cor.1:3) says that God is the God of all comfort. It is my hope all of you will find encouragement knowing also that our loving Creator comfort all who mourns the loss of their love ones (Isaiah 61:1, 2).

G-d bless your soul Mr. Beitz. My father was a Holocaust survivor. I am personally touched by your acts of bravery, defiance, and decency. Because of your genuine heart and true soul, hundreds of others who would have perished lived. May you always be seated at the table of the righteous ones.

The honor bestowed upon him "Righteous Among the Nations" says it all.

What a beautiful, caring, and righteous man.
What a beautiful life.
What a beautiful example of how to live one's life.

His legacy will live on for many generations to come.

With my deepest condolences, I have much appreciation for everything I have read that Mr. Beitz had done. Our people were in the concentration camps and were stamped with the purple triangle. Much appreciation for those that put their life on the line to save others. May all family and friends be consoled in prayer to the God of all comfort and may he give you the strength to get through these difficult times.

Todd Molesworth said it all. Mr. Beitz should be rewarded in heaven for all his selfless contributions to mankind.

The obituary states about Mr. Beitz being a very successful industrialist and so on and so on. But what matters is what a person does for the soul and mankind and what Berthold Beitz did during the war shows that he had a huge heart. To save hundreds of Jews at great personal risk says more about a man than his personal worth at the end of his life.
