Charles and Nancy,
My heart breaks for you and your family. Bunny was a warm, caring person and more than that she was my good friend. I loved her very much. I enjoyed cooking talking and quilting with her. She was the one who taught me the love of quilting. I still have the very first quilt that she helped me make and I have others that have pieces of her fabric sewn into them. She would always tell me, "Now Amy I have some fabric that you can go through that might match better in your quit." And I loved that, because it meant that I got to go visit and spend hours talking to her about quilts and would get to see what new quilt she was working on. Bunny was always my "go to person" for recipes and advice for any quilting problems or questions. I loved her and my life changed considerably when she left. I think of her every day and especially while sewing on her machine. There are special times that I look at a book, a recipe card or a little brown paper bag with fabric scraps inside and I see a little hand written note from her to me and it just brings back a flood of fond memories of a small gift from her or a day we spent together cooking. I loved her and still cherish our friendship.
Because of Him,
Amy Hill
