SMITH Mrs. Bessie Mrs. Bessie Smith, 96, of Toledo, OH, passed away, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the Heartland Holly Glen Nursing Facility. She was a domestic worker for various families many years prior to retirement. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are sons, Chappell W. and Willie Gibson; daughter, Daphine (Jimmy) Williams of MI.; 6 grand, and 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, preceded by Family Hour/Wake Services at 10:00 a.m. at The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue.
