Beth Busenbark Obituary

Beth "J" Busenbark

- Beth "J" Busenbark was born on April 12, 1931, in Salt Lake County, Utah. She passed away August 31, 2024, in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents Pherril Peter Syme and Alice Berenice Owen Syme; her husband William (Bill) Isaac Busenbark and her sister and brother-in-law, Alice LaVon Syme Marsh and Robert Lee Marsh Sr. She is survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

Beth was an avid lover of nature. She especially loved the beautiful surroundings of Teasdale, Utah, where she, as a transplant, became like a native Wayne County resident. She could often be found hunting for arrowheads and frequently collected rocks whenever she was on Boulder Mountain. She loved hunting with her husband, Bill, and other family members during the fall, and enjoyed skiing with Bill in the winter. Often, she brought the treasures she found hunting home and used them in her crafts and decorations. She used that artistic talent to make lamps, rock pictures, sand art, leaf mosaics and many other creative works of art. Beth also loved taking pictures of family as well as the scenery around her. She truly was a lover of God's creations.

Beth was kindhearted and frequently opened her house up to family when they were in need. Although she and Bill did not have children of their own, she loved being included in the family lives of her nieces and nephews. She was very supportive of them.

Beth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed her callings and remained faithful. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP) where she served in her camp's leadership.

When employed she was a diligent worker and performed her duties well. She was considered a good employee, but her favorite job was being a homemaker where she put her sewing skills to good use as she made clothes for herself, her niece and her husband.

Beth has now completed her mortal schooling and journey of life and has gone to be with loved ones, family and friends, on the other side of the veil. Her reunion must have been a joyous one and we are happy for her.

We miss you Aunt Beth!

I only knew Beth a very short few months. I had the privilege to be her Hospice Nurse. She had a beautiful smile and I loved her cute laugh/giggle. She had Beautiful Blue eyes that would melt my heart every time I visited her. I loved getting to know her and her caring niece. Thank for allowing me in your home Beth Our Angle on earth is now an Angle in Heaven, free from earthy restraints.
