Beth Hamilton-Young

Beth Ann Hamilton-Young, 68, passed away on February 1, 2026, in Camas, Washington. Born on August 9, 1957, Beth dedicated her life to caring for others, both through her career and in her personal interactions.
Beth graduated from Avella High School and went on to earn a degree from Portland Community College. She built a rewarding career as an MRI Technologist, where her kindness and patience were as vital as her technical skills.
Known for her loving nature, Beth was a beacon of kindness and generosity. Her laugh was truly one of a kind, and she was always ready to help anyone in need. Beth was an active member of Grace Church, where she participated in the Women of The Word bible study group. Her faith was a significant part of her life, and she cherished the community she found there.
An avid traveler and hiker, Beth found joy in exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with her friends and family. She was also a devoted pet owner, sharing her home with her beloved pets Annie Margaret, Smitty, Olive, and Eleanor. Beth's passion for reading led her to join several book clubs, which often combined her love for literature with social gatherings.
Beth is survived by her nephews, Kevin (Carly) Hamilton and Andrew (Sarah) Hamilton, as well as her great-nephews, Wyatt Grove, Eli Hamilton, and Isaac Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary "Libby" Elizabeth and Jay Loyal Hamilton, and her brother, Jay Bradford Hamilton.
Services will be held at Grace Church on May 1st at 4pm PST at 717 SE Everett Road, Camas, Washington 98607, and at Upper Buffalo Church on April 18th at 11am EST at 250 Buffalo Rd S, Washington, PA 15301.
