Beth McKeal Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 27, 2026.
Sadly, Beth Ann McKeal died in Fairhaven, Washington on February 6, 2026, at the age

of 72. She was born in Ohio on October 18, 1953, to parents, Clayton McKeal and

Patricia Hoover. She will be missed by her daughter, Kimberly Sommers (David Estes),

her son, Kristopher Sommers (Caitlin), and grandson, Elet, her sisters, Christine

Webner and Pam France, and nieces and nephew, and by her friends from across the

country.

Beth was a caring teacher and a happy retiree. She enjoyed doing puzzles, collecting

Fiestaware, reading everything she could get her hands on, and taking long walks to

admire old houses. Beth loved her family and friends, and we thank you all for the love,

care, and kindness you have shown her through the years.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 9, 2026, from 12:00-3:00 pm at the

Whetstone Shelterhouse at 3901 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio, at the Columbus Park of

Roses. We will gather to share our favorite Beth stories and memories. Light

refreshments provided.
