Beth Ann Stack

Beth Ann Stack, (nee) Lejman, age 58, of Wilmington, DE formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Sunday, July 24th, 2016, peacefully with family beside her. Beth attended and graduated Sun Valley High School, Brookhaven, PA, Class of 1976. She then went on to become an Office Manager in the Insurance and Real-Estate fields out of Philadelphia, PA for thirty plus years. Beth's passion for music and the arts started from the early age of seven. Beth was skilled in playing the organ, keyboards, clavinet, trumpet, and guitar. Throughout her twenties in the 1980's, Beth was a major contributor to the Philadelphia music scene playing in several bands, starting out with Blu Beth and the Gentleman Caller, The Heathens, and last but not least, the world famous and highly innovated The Stick Men. In her later years, she enjoyed fine cooking, entertaining and throwing parties, remaining active in the Philadelphia music scene, going down the shore, her love for modern art, home décor, being a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, spending time with her beagle dogs, Boney Snoots and Auggie, and spending as much time with her friends and family. Beth's larger than life personality, her out of this world and sarcastic sense of humor, and her loving and caring heart touched the lives of so many individuals from all walks of life. Preceded in death by her father, John S. Lejman; her best friend, Sky F. Kishlo. She is survived by one daughter, Lucille V. Stack; mother and stepfather, Dorothy J. and Thomas H. Latch; her boyfriend, Christopher P. Chudzik; her best friend, Diane S. Fink; and her niece, Colleen C. Corson. A Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 from 9:00am-10:00am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am at St. Helena Catholic Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike , Wilmington, DE 19809. Burial will be private at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
