Beth Veum Obituary
Beth Ann Veum passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. She was born on April 28, 1961 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. She graduated from Cambridge High School Class of 1979, and she went on to marry Randy Veum on July 30, 1988. Beth dedicated 18 years to working at Jones’s Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson, and she previously worked at Melster Candies in Cambridge for many years.
Beth had a love for horses, dogs, cats, and all kinds of animals, especially her horse, Bobby Socks. Her love of horses included a collection of statues, books, movies, and a teddy bear collection. Having grown up on the family tobacco farm, this sparked Beth’s love for taking care of horses at a young age, and her enjoyment for spending time outdoors. With the help of Azura Memory care, Beth was able to spend time on a horse farm just this past August fulfilling her mosaic dream.
Beth was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed reading her Garfield and Calvin & Hobbes book collection, and these always gave her many laughs.
Beth is survived by her husband Randy Veum; parents Jay and Deloris Kogle; sister Connie (Jerry) Wolf; brothers-in-law Robert Veum and Steve (Kim) Veum; and many relatives and dear friends. Beth was preceded in death by her grandparents and her sister-in-law Pam (the late Jim) Wiora.
A celebration of Beth's life will be from 11-2:00 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Creekview Par Three, 770 Albion Road, Edgerton, WI 53534. Memorials are appreciated to Agrace Hospice or Jefferson County Humane Society.
Special thank you to Azura Memory Care of Stoughton and all the staff/caregivers for the wonderful care and compassion for Beth the last 14 months along with Agrace Hospice for the last 6 months of their care for Beth.
