Bethann A. Heakins

1964 - 2025

Bethann A. Heakins, 61, of Lower Burrell, formerly of Harmar, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025. She was born May 31, 1964, to her parents, the late Robert and Dolores Mautino Ewing, and has been a lifelong resident of the Valley. Bethann worked for Giant Eagle for many years and was a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Springdale. She enjoyed camping, going to wine festivals and tastings, and especially adored all her nieces and nephews. Bethann was always giving and never taking anything from anyone, which is what truly made her special. She will be sadly missed. Surviving her are husband, Matthew A. Heakins; and brother, Robert (Joi) Ewing of Bethel Park. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her uncle, Eugene Mautino. As well as many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
