Betsy Godbey Obituary
She rejoins her beloved husband Walter Braxton Godbey Jr, who passed away on August 21st, 2021, her parents, Daniel and Martha Bonham, and will be mourned by the many lives she enriched during her time with the Crescent Cities Jaycees Foundation, a nonprofit organization that she was instrumental in creating and continuing.
She was modest, humble, humorous, and loving, and now she is a Guardian Angel for everyone who was fortunate enough to have been touched by her beautiful life.
Proverbs 27:2: "Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips." Rest well, Betsy. Let the work you have done speak for you.
