Betsy Fenstermaker Harrell

Betsy F. Harrell July 19, 1934 - January 7, 2018 Betsy Fenstermaker Harrell age 83, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of San Antonio. Her parents were Clarence and Bess Fenstermaker. Betsy graduated from Pine Manor Jr. College, and in 1959 married Don Harrell with whom she spent 58 wonderful years filled with so much love and fun. Betsy was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and contributed to many charitable causes. She is survived by her loving husband, Don; son, William and his wife Alice; grandsons, Jack and Tyler; and friends She and Don consider their adopted family, Jackie, John and Kristen Meyer, and her niece, Michelle Pate; nephew, Leslie McCauley; her cousins, Bebe and Sis Fenstermaker; and her loyal and dedicated friends Marilyn and Rick Weidman, and Lisa and Raul Molina and Fernando Gonzalez. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to Deb, hospice nurse, caregivers, and staff at Heart to Heart Home Healthcare for their loving care, gentleness and kindness extended to Betsy throughout. On Thursday, January 11th at 2:00 PM, Funeral services will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 308 Mount Calvary with interment in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Harrell, Jack Harrell, Tyler Harrell, John Meyer, Bill Mitchell and Wilbur Matthews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church or The Children's Shelter at 2939 W. Woodlawn.
