Ms. Betsy Olland Cotto passed away early Saturday morning December 20, 2025, at HMH JFK University Medical Center in Edison. She was sixty-eight years old.
Ms. Olland Cotto was born and raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She spent many years traveling and lived in California, Colorado, and Puerto Rico, before settling back in New Jersey.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved music, singing, dancing and the Holidays. She was content with the simple things in life and was happy sitting on her porch having coffee with friends and family. But she loved her children and grandchildren more than anything and spent as much time as she could with them.
She was predeceased by her father Efraim Olland, her son Daniel Jimenez and a brother Efraim Olland.
She is survived by her children, Emilio Jimenez, his spouse Marya, Stacey Jimenez, and her husband Michael Gonzales. She is also survived by her mother Gloria Olland, her brothers, Edward and Oscar Olland and her sister, Mary Rodriguez and her husband Eddie. She has five grandchildren, Mya, Max, Ava Gonzales and Mia and Gianna Jimenez. She is also survived by her boyfriend and partner, Rich Barsi.
