Bette Miller Obituary
Bette Jo Jones Miller, 84, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Desoto Healthcare Center in Southaven. Born on February 27, 1941 in Aberdeen, she was a daughter to Rayford E. Sr. and Charlotte Murff Jones. She was a member of First Christian Church in Aberdeen where she and her husband, Ronald Lee Miller, actively led the youth group. Prior to her retirement, she worked with the United States Postal Service, and she enjoyed arts and crafts. But above all, her granddaughter, Marcia, brought her the most joy.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Bro. J.D. Segroves officiating. Burial will be in the Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Paul “Robbie” Miller and Samuel Joseph “Sam” Miller; daughter, Natacia “Nat” Lynn Miller Overstreet (Dennis); brother, Rayford E. Jones, II; grandchildren, Marcia Frances Miller; nephews, Reggie Jones and Leslie Jones, and nieces, Terri Jones Kennedy and Janie Miller Thompson (Joe).
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Miller; and brother, Samuel Jones.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
