Bette Mae "Bertsch" Morrow

Bette Mae Morrow, age 87, of Sharon Grove, Kentucky died peacefully at her nephew's home in Freeport, Ohio at 1:27 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2025.

She was born October 17, 1937 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio; a daughter of the late Art Lynn Bertsch and Mary Louise Carter Bertsch.

Bette spent many years working for Kames Sporting's Goods and Lawson's Convenience Store in Cuyahoga Falls. After she retired, she and her husband, Jackson, moved to Sharon Grove, Kentucky where they developed a love of horses. They showed miniature horses and won numerous trophies and ribbons. Her favorite horse breed by far was a Black Friesian.

Her husband of thirty years, Jackson I. (Jackie) Morrow, died in 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bobbi Rae Hershman, in 1991.

She is survived by two sons: Paul Trennell and Rick Trennell; four grandchildren: Nick Trennell, Mike Trennell, Josh Trennell, and Brandy Dominski; three great-grandchildren: Wesley Trennell, Brayden Trennell, and Sophia Trennell; a niece Michelle (Kelly) Hershman, a nephew, Jimmy (Heather) Hershman, and a great-niece, Hailey Hershman.

Services will be held at Latham Funeral Home, 413 East Main Street, Elkton, Kentucky 42220.

Burial will follow in Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove, Todd County, Kentucky 42280.
