Betty Jean Brown

Betty Brown, 79, of Ducktown, TN, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025. She was born to JC Cambell and Cora Wheeler and grew up with a deep love for family and animals.

Betty was a kind and caring soul who found her greatest joy in the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished family gatherings and the time spent with her loved ones. A lifelong animal lover, she always had pets by her side, from dogs and cats to birds and chickens-each holding a special place in her heart.

Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Cora Wheeler. She is survived by her four children: Robbie McKinney, Earl Brown, Lisa Brown, and Bobby Brown; and her beloved grandchildren: Bobby Brown Jr., Wyatt Brown, Brandon Ross, Diana Wehry, Johnny Wehry, Kristy McKinney, Patty Brown, and Felicia Beavers; great-grandchildren Karter Bilbrey, Brandon T. Ross, Summer Lord, Ryan Lord, Harley Cooper, Gabriel Gibson, and Gabby Park

A service to honor Betty's life will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Mack Shelton Parlor of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Rd. Cleveland, TN 37311. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.

Betty's love, warmth, and kindness will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
