It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend Betty (Lucas) Bugh.
Born February 5, 1935, in Searcy, Arkansas to Woodrow Lucas and Mary (Hicks) Lucas. Betty left this world on May 13, 2025, at the age of 90.
Betty spent most of her life nurturing the things she cherished most: family, friends, and the simple joys of life. A woman of many talents and passions, she was well known and dearly loved for her dedication to gardening, creating beauty in her surroundings, and finding the joy in everyday moments. Betty's vibrant spirit shone through in everything she did, from crafting and decorating to sharing laughs with those she loved.
She equally cherished traveling and camping with her family and friends. Dancing was another of her great joys-she had a passion for music and movement, and she could light up a room with her fun-loving spirit.
Betty is survived by her children: Belinda (Jeff) Hayner, Debbie (Walter) Aust, and Ricky (Amy) Bugh. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jeffery (Michelle) Padgett, Shawn (Mellisa) Aust, Courtney Davis, Mickey Bugh, Amber (TJ) Kaech, Kira Webb, Tyson Webb, Taylor Bugh and Anthony Bugh.
She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jordyn (Caleb) McCullough, Colby Davis, Aleahya (Zachary) Lee, Dylan Davis, Trayton Webb, Brody Aust, Ryder Aust, Stella Bugh, and Sadie Kaech. Betty was blessed to welcome her great-great-grandchild, Ryker Lee.
Betty is survived by her sisters: Norma Jean Lusk, Audrey Kuzniczci and Beverly Patrick as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Bugh and two siblings.
As we remember Betty, let us cherish the joy and warmth she brought into our lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
