Mrs. Betty Jane Herring Burchfield, 80, of Diamond Lane, Royston, wife of William H. "Bill" Burchfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at her residence.
Mrs. Burchfield was born in Summerspoint, NJ on March 3, 1945, daughter of the late L.Z. Herring and Doris Atkinson Herring.
Surviving, in addition to her husband Bill, are her children: Joseph Gerald Finney, Samuel William Burchfield, and Joseph Paul Burchfield; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Ann Finney; and sister, Virginia Gressman.
No services are planned, and burial will be in they Cary Memorial Gardens in Royston.
