Betty Jean Carroll

Betty Jean Carroll, age 78, of Adrian MI, passed away on October 21, 2025. Betty was born in Adrian, MI to Julia & Ellsworth Jones on May 20, 1947. Betty was a Head Start teacher for 39 years for the Adrian Public School system retiring in 2009. Betty is survived by her siblings, Casey Jones of Florida, Shirley Snead of Clayton and Norman " Tuffy" Jones of Adrian. Betty is also survived by her children, Jerry(Laura) Creger of Jasper, MI, Nick (Nancy) Creger of Adrian, Brian (Lalonnie) Creger of Adrian, and Brad (Laurie) Creger of Jacksonville, Fl, Cynthia Santana of Eaton, PA, Heather Carroll of Ft Wayne, IN, Danielle Carroll of Ft Wayne, IN, Amanda Carroll of Detroit, MI and Janessa (Lawrence) Trionfi of Southgate MI. She will also be missed by her 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. Betty will be welcomed to heaven by her late husband John Carroll; her parents, Julia & Ellsworth Jones; her siblings Lavera Winters, Lawrence Jones, May Tripp, Ellsworth " Peanut" Jones, Norma McKinney, Julia Moore, Ernie Jones and Nellie Linebeck. The family would like to thank Swanton Valley Rehabilitation & Healthcare and Southern Care Hospice for their exceptional care. Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev. William VanValkenberg officiating.
