Mrs. Betty June Coleman, age 75, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in Franklin, Tennessee. Mrs. Coleman was born in Columbia, TN and was a daughter of the late Margaret Addison Roberts and Earl Roberts, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Coleman, and five brothers, Earl Roberts, Jr. Thomas Roberts, Charles Roberts, J. V. Roberts, and Bobby Roberts.

Mrs. Betty was of the Baptist faith. She was an administrative assistant and had retired several years earlier. Mrs. Betty was a strong woman and the best “Nanny” in the World. She was everything to her family.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband of 56 years, James E. Coleman, Chapel Hill, TN; daughter-in-law, Shelia Coleman, Chapel Hill, TN;  granddaughters, Heather (Kenny) Hutchins, Dickson, TN, Brittany (Dominic) Murphy, Murfreesboro, TN; great grandchildren, Shy Murphy, Aubrielle Murphy, Albany Murphy; sister, Peggy Roberts, Milton FL; brother, Billy Roberts, Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
