Betty Marie Coleman, age 94, passed away peacefully at home on January 3rd, 2026. She was born and raised in Marcus Hook, PA, before moving to Brookhaven, PA, where she raised her family and made her home for the last 62 years.
A devoted homemaker, Betty dedicated much of her life to caring for others. Over the years, Betty and her husband Conrad helped to foster 72 children, welcoming each into their home with compassion and patience. Their generosity and nurturing spirit touched countless lives. They would even go on to adopt 2 of their foster children to love as their own.
Betty enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her flowers. She also loved to travel, spending time at the beach or going camping with her family. Later in life, she got to travel abroad to memorable locations like Europe, Hawaii, and Bermuda. As often as she was able, Betty attended services at Calvary Chapel in Chadds Ford, PA.
Betty was the daughter of the late Charles and Sadie Rae Vandever, and was the devoted wife of the late Conrad Coleman (2001).
Survivors: Her Children: Bruce Coleman (Denise), Cheryl Tessing (Karl), and Margaret Coleman (Dan). Grandchildren: Starr Stong (Jeff), Eric Wysocki, Candace Martino (Dave), and Bryan Coleman (Caity). Great Grandchildren: Conrad, Noah, Giavanna, Grayson, Gwendolyn, Wriggs, and Troy.
Visitation: Saturday, January 10, 2026, 9:00am-10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
