Betty Leeonia Cronan

In the Afternoon of February 3rd 2026, Betty Leeonia Kersey Cronan of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away at the age of 89 In her home, Surrounded by her Children. 

Betty was known for always being outside as she loved "diggin in the dirt" as she put it. If you didn't have Granny Beads around your neck, you must've not put in hard enough work. If she wasnt outside, you could find her sitting at the kitchen table with her nail file in hand, watching the birds outside - Birds that were always well fed because of her. Betty loved her children, but she loved her Grandkids even more! If you stayed the night, you better believe she was getting you up with the chickens to eat breakfast that was always good! She was truly one of the good ones. She never complained, always worked hard, and would give you whatever she had.

She was preceded death by her Father, Gus Kersey, her Mother, Katherine Kersey, her Husband Johnny Cronan, and her Daughter Sandra "Sandy" Bailey along with her 12 Brothers and Sisters. Willie Shipman, Estelene Stafford, Frank Kersey, Bertha Duggan, John Kersey, Clyde Kersey, Leonard Kersey, Irene Waters, Pauline Swanson, Joyce Redd, Lois Driver, and Eva Mae Smith.

She was survived by Children Jantilla "Jan" Vail of Ringgold, Georgia, Teresa (Larry) Ballew of Cleveland, Garry (Mitzi) Cronan of Cleveland, Connie Morrow of Cleveland and many Grandkids; Doloris "DeeDee" Teague, Jackie Teague, Pamela Teague, Brian Teague, Michelle Sexton (Jan), Shawna Ensley, Melissa Stonecipher, Tyson Goldston, and Melanie "Denise" Girouard (Sandra), Amanda (Aaron) White (Teresa), Dustin (Megan) Morrow, Jordan (Kaylee) Snyder (Connie) along with many Great grandchildren. 

No funeral or visitation services are scheduled per Betty's Request.
