Betty Sue Crowder, 79, affectionately known as "Pansy" sadly passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born on February 2, 1946, to the late Roy Lee & Geraldine Trevathan Strickland. Pansy blessed so many with her jovial spirit, relentless in her strive to bring smiles and laughter to others. Pansy brought so much joy to her family and to the many friends she made over the course of her life. The memories made with Pansy will forever be cherished by all that had the pleasure of knowing her because of the huge impact she made with her laughter, encouragement and the joy she would always spread. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Donald "Duck" Crowder and her brothers, John Larry Strickland and Thomas Ray Strickland.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Adderholdt (Mike); her sister, Loraine Jones; her 3 beautiful grandchildren, Derek, Jennings, and Whitney; 1 adorable great grandchild, Odin Ryker and so many others that loved her unconditionally.
Funeral service will be at 12:30pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with visitation from 11:30am to 12:30pm prior to the service. Burial to follow in the Union Hope Baptist Church cemetery.
Flowers welcomed or memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
