Betty Ruth Demoray

Betty Ruth Demoray, 85, of Madisonville, passed away 12:15 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2025. She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was employed at Owens-Illinois for 32 years and the Madisonville Walmart for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Merrill G. Demoray; daughter, Donna Alexander, formerly of Sweetwater; mother, Dillie Mae Foster and father, David William Foster, formerly of Chattanooga; sisters, Anna Mae Foster, formerly of Chattanooga, Peggy Sue Redmond, formerly of Hampton GA; brother, Jack Foster, formerly of Chattanooga. Survivors include a son, Donald Wayne Dockery, of Hampton GA; daughter, Theresa Dockery, of Madisonville; sister, Josephine Wynn, of Ringgold GA; grandchildren, Tonya Dockery, of Madisonville, Kayla Blair, of Sweetwater, Darryl Dockery and Dawson Dockery of Hampton GA, Tasha Baxter and Clayton Foxx, of Dalton GA, Joey Dockery, Mellissa Blair, and Waylon Dockery, of Hampton GA, Cody Baxter, of Vonore, Daniel Dockery, of Madisonville; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Noah, Nathan, Serenity, Alexis, Willie, Christopher, Trenton, Rhianna and Adalee. The interment will be private. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced soon. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
