Betty Ann "Sue" Felkey

1942 - 2023

Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through His servant Betty (Sue) Ann Felkey
Betty Ann Felkey was born on February 4, 1942, in Appleton, WI, the daughter of Elmer and Lucille (Anderson) Burr. In December of 1962, she married Howard James Felkey in Jackson, MN and remained t ogether until his passing in 2013. Sue worked for K-Mart in Aberdeen until her retirement.
In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, driving through the hills and Spearfish and trying to think of things to do with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. Something else she loved was her hometown football team, the Green Bay Packers. She loved letting everyone know when they beat the Vikings.
Sue, 81, Black Hawk, SD, died on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Fountain Springs Nursing Facility in Rapid City, SD.
Sue is survived by her children and their families: Michael Felkey and Lady (Snahila) of Black Hawk, Laura Felkey (Alex) of Rapid City, Daniel and Donya (Ethan, Claire, Tanner, Eve, Mackenzie, and Chloe, with great grandson Azreal); her sisters-in-law whom she loved as her own sisters, Linda Reiter and Dennis of Toledo, OH, Diane Heinrichs and Verlin of Graettinger, IA, Lila and Richard Clipperton of Nashua, IA and Carol Felkey of Graettinger, IA.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
