Betty Forshee, 90, of Park Hills, passed away November 24, 2025. She was born June 2, 1935, in Fredericktown, to the late Archie and Goldie Miller. Betty was a loving wife to Richard for 74 years and a loving mother, while being a stay-at-home mom, and raising her three sons.
In her younger years, Betty enjoyed sewing, reading, volleyball, bowling and spending time with her family and friends. She was also known for her homemade apple and cherry pies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Wayne and Michael Forshee; and one sister, Helen Glore; and stepfather, Jasper “Jap” Woods.
Betty is survived by her husband, Richard Forshee; son Brett Forshee and wife Sherry; daughter in-law, Becky Forshee; seven grandkids, Chad Forshee, Shawna Sansoucie, Megan Forshee, Chris Forshee and wife Amber, Joe Forshee, Paige Wegener and husband Tucker, Parker Forshee and wife Peyton; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Winnie Barnett, Linda McClain and husband Buck, Nancy Jo Woods; brothers, Jimmy Woods and wife Ann, Stevie Woods and wife Donna and Dennis Woods; several nieces, nephews; special family member, Sharon Roney and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume at 9:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jeff Roever will be officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay.
