Betty Freyman

Betty Elizabeth Freyman, 91, of Sykesville, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Copper Ridge. Born July 7, 1932 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward Garber and Martha Louise Otto Garber. She was the loving wife of the late Charles "Bud" Thomas Freyman. Before retiring she worked in the sewing factories in Westminster for 42 years. She loved to travel with the No Problem Club, gambling , family reunions and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her siblings Jim Garber and wife Georgiana, Virginia Battaglia and husband Joe, Robert L. Garber and Patsy Frankton and husband Jim; brother-in-laws Floyd Freyman and wife Cherry and Dale Freyman and wife Linda; beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Carl, Charles and Thomas Garber and brother-in-law Klarn Freyman. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Deer Park Cemetery.
