Betty Jo Glendening, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at her home in Morgantown. Born in Taylortown, PA, to the late Ted and Virgie Mullins. Betty spent her life making a loving home for her family and creating memories that would last lifetimes. Betty's radiant spirit was the cornerstone of her family. Her laughter and unwavering support filled their home with a warmth that will be dearly missed. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Glendening, with whom she shared a beautiful and inspiring love.
Her legacy of love and devotion will be carried on by her beloved daughter, Donna Watt and her husband, Dean. Donna's strength and character reflect the values her mother instilled in her from a very young age. Betty's joy multiplied with the birth of her grandchildren, Brittney Cairns (Brent), Courtney English (Tyler), and Conner Watt, whom she adored and cherished every moment with. Her great-grandchildren, Charlie, Ella, and Everly Cairns brought a renewed sense of wonder and delight into her life.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her siblings, Vina Rogers, Dottie Geer, and Ralph Mullins, but the memories they created together will forever be a tribute to the close-knit family they were.
Professionally, Betty was respected and recognized as a dedicated inspector at Mylan, where her attention to detail and commitment to quality were constants throughout her service. Yet, it was beyond the workplace that Betty's true passions came to life. She had an insatiable love for shopping, which was matched only by the joy she found in the simple pleasure of a sunny day at the beach. There, the lapping of the waves and the warmth of the sand reflected the calm and comfort she brought to her family.
Betty's memory will be forever cherished and remembered through her great love for her family. She was the embodiment of a loving spirit, always putting others before herself and nurturing her family with care and compassion. Her love will continue to echo in the halls of the home she made and in the hearts of those who cherished her. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Morgantown Hospice, 3596 Collins Ferry Road, Suite 250, Morgantown, WV 26505 in honor of Betty.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and again on Monday from 1pm until the 2pm service time with Pastor Rich Schimansky officiating. Internment will immediately follow the service in Beverly Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.McCulla.com

My husband and I spent a lot of enjoyable days together, boating on Cheat Lake. She was always a pleasure to be around. May the beautiful memories she left will bring a smile to her family's face. Deepest sympathy, Jody and Rita Christopher-Close

Betty was a beautiful lady inside and out. She had a way of bringing brightness into a room. I remember her and Larry camping and visiting our home. We always had a wonderful time! Prayers for Larry, Donna and family.
