Betty Grady Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home - Camdenton on Oct. 27, 2025.
Betty Jo Grady, daughter of the late Edgar & Rosa (Clopp) Osborn, was born on January 31, 1938 and departed this life on October 25, 2025. At the time of her passing, Betty was eighty-seven years of age. Betty was preceded in passing by her husband, Floyd Grady; her parents; her daughter, Kathy Hollandsworth; and two siblings, Danny Osborn and Roy Osborn. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Gray; two grandchildren, Mike Hollandsworth and Josh Hollandsworth; and two sisters-in-law, Kathy Osborn and Linda Osborn. In her passing, Betty leaves behind many other friends and family who will all truly miss her. Betty was born, raised and attended school in Camden County, Missouri. Following her schooling she stayed home to help with the family and went to work. She began working as a welder for Dawson's, Sun Strand and later Modine until her retirement. On September 3, 1971, Betty was united in marriage to Floyd Wayne Grady and together they would share thirty-four years of marriage until his passing on July 20, 2006. In her spare time, Betty loved to spend her time sewing and quilting. She especially loved travelling to craft shows with her husband, wherever that journey may take them. While she was at home, she found great joy in riding in her powered wheel chair around the cul de sac and visiting with all the neighbors. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.

Oh my sweet Betty! It was such a pleasure and blessing to share what little time we did get. You touched my heart in such a short amount of time! I will forever think of you! I miss coming into work and seeing your smiling face and the way you lit up when you'd see me!
