Betty passed away on September 20, 2025. She was born to the late Hiram and Nora (Horner) Greenwood, of Gainsboro, TN.
Betty worked for Western Electric Co. and later retired from AT&T. She also spent over 22 years as financial secretary for I.B.E.W. Local #1504 Labor Union. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Betty’s late husband, Hugh L. Graves, preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter Angela DeLano and husband Charles DeLano of Cookeville, TN; three grandchildren Scott Mullenix, Danielle Miller, Tobias DeLano; great-grandchildren Noah DeLano, Liam, Hannah, and Hailey Miller, and Alicia Lacasse.
Calling will be from 11:00am-1:00pm before the service at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
