Betty Lea (Rock) Snider Haines, 72, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at home.

She was born May 18, 1953 in Connellsville, PA. She was the daughter of the late William Rock, Jr. and Patricia Behana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Williams Charles Rock.

Betty was a graduate of the ACC Nursing program where she worked as an RN in the ICU at Sacred Heart Hospital. In 2015 she went to work with her husband at Meritus Medical Center in the wound department as a WOCN. Betty and her husband, Richard "Rick" Haines, had their first date September 9, 1984 at 1pm and have been together ever since.

Betty loved doing projects with her grandkids and teaching them how to enjoy life. She was active in the local Christian Motorcycle Association as she and Rick enjoyed taking rides on their Harley-Davidson with other members. Betty was a very kind and caring woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her three children, Kimberly (Snider) Baumann and husband Robert, Alison (Snider) Beatty Orlic and her husband Peter, and her son, Gregory Snider. Betty has nine grandchildren, Tai "Raven" Baumann, Violet Baumann, Damian Beatty, Carson Beatty, Braylon Beatty, Cadence Snider, Olive Snider, Kashton Snider and Micah Orlic. Betty has two surviving sisters, Connie Mingus, of Florida, and Beverly Holcomb and her husband Owen, of Georgia.

In accordance with her wishes, Betty will be cremated, and there are no formal services planned at this time.
