Betty L. Hennessy

Betty L. (Tognazzi) Hennessy, 87, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025 in Countryside Healthcare, Milford. She was the wife of the late Gerald F. Hennessy.

Betty worked as a medical transcriptionist at Milford Regional Hospital before her retirement.

She was born and raised in Milford the daughter of the late John H. and Louise (Balconi) Tognazzi and graduated from Milford High School and Lasell College.

Betty enjoyed painting, reading, ceramics, stenciling and playing cards with friends. She also maintained close relationships throughout his life with many dear friends including the Alberta's, Rizoli's, Guerriere's, Glennon's, Mazzone's, Ragini's, Hannigan's, Bruno's and Zmijewski's.

She is survived by a son Timothy P. and his wife Tracy Hennessy of Mendon; two daughters Kathleen L. Hennessy of Hopkinton and Amy E. and her husband Kevin Neves of Milford; 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Megan, Jeremy, Leah and Connor; a great-grandson, Wyatt; a brother-in-law Robert and his wife Toni Hennessy of Hopedale and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Ann Hennessy; a brother, John and his wife Jean Tognazzi and her "adopted" brother, Ralph Boccasile and his wife Rose.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:30 AM – 12 Noon in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon in the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Street, Milford.
