Betty Louise Holland Zerba

Betty Louise Holland Zerba, age 88, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at home with family by her side. She was born August 30, 1937, in Carson City, the daughter of Lloyd and Nora (Bussell) Hevel. She married James Holland, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1994. She later married Kenneth Zerba who also preceded her in death.
Betty worked for several years at Muir Lyons Chrysler and Diamond Reo. She later worked as a clerk at the Owl's Nest in Carson City and as a cook at the Friendly and Carson City Hospital. She enjoyed trips to the casino but especially enjoyed making crafts. She was known for her Victorian style crafts, wedding albums and her floral arrangements. She was a member of the New Haven Church of God.
Betty is survived by her children Terry (Brenda Huntoon) Holland, Tammy (Brian) Cilibraise, Timberly (Mike) Crandell; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother Ronnie (Marsha) Hevel.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Holland, Jr.; second husband Kenneth Zerba; a granddaughter Holly Jo Holland; her parents; Lloyd and Nora Hevel; sisters Barb Inbody, Ruth Henry; and a brother Ray Hevel.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1 pm at Dodge Funeral Home, Middleton. Interment will follow in Payne Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 am until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the Dementia Society of America.
