Betty Jo Hutton of Winter Garden Florida passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025 at 91 years of age.
Born in Kingsport Tennessee on June 10, 1934, she and her husband Woody Hutton moved to Florida in 1953. Woody and Betty built a long life full of family, friends and love. Her family includes 3 children Brenda Kay Turner, Debra Hutton Mercer and is preceded in death by son Mark Douglas Hutton and husband Woody Douglas Hutton. Also preceded by her father Kyle and mother Elsie Sluss, and by her sister Jacqueline Caldwell, and brother James Sluss.
Betty had 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Betty started out raising her children and sold Avon during those years and later gained her real estate license and worked as a sales clerk in clothing. She loved doing ceramics, gardening and shopping! The funeral service will be held Friday July 25, 2025 with viewing at 10:30 Services to follow.
