Betty Elvera Gamradt Jones, 78, passed away on May 10, 2025 in West Jordan, Utah. Born on April 7, 1947 in Oakland, California to Elmer Leopold Gamradt and Lillian Jessamyne Farrow.

She married her first love Tony Allen on June 27, 1965, divorced 2 years later. Betty married her true love Gene Jones on December 14, 1968 in Lake Tahoe.

She was the second employee at Robert J. Debry and Associates where she became a senior paralegal, she retired after 30 years due to medical complications which made it difficult for her to continue with her job.

She battled chronic illnesses for the later part of her life. She fought a valiant battle with each illness, always coming through with love, care and attention to those who helped take care of her. She loved life and all the gifts God blessed her with, including her children & grandchildren. She remained hopeful and positive - until her last breath. Her greatest joys came from children & grandchildren. She wrote "My children have been my greatest reward."

I Knew Betty and Gene through a lawsuit involving the property they bought on the Green River in Uintah County. They were both real down to earth folks. We lost touch later on to my loss. I'm sorry she has had health problems for an extended time. I wish her family well.

We can honor Betty by looking at her children and grandchildren. How she loved them. And to have someone there for companionship and care to the very end. Yes like her book says the ones on earth mourn while on the other side of the veil, is one joyous reunion. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family here.
