Betty Knight Obituary
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter of Odessa Foust and Charlie Fox, she graduated from Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Prior to retirement, Betty was employed as a lead supervisor and manager with Laidlaw International Inc. (First Group Pic) where she participated in the safety team and had previously worked in warehouse operations.
She enjoyed visiting various casinos, watching horse races and games shows especially "Judge Judy" and taking vacations and time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Thomas Knight who passed in 2021; her three children, James T. Knight, Jr.; Brian K. Knight, Sr. and Lisa Knight; her three sisters, Martha Fox-Rankin, Alice Fox-Clyburn and Rena Fox-Saddler; and her six brothers, Hanson Fox, Cornell Fox, Johnny Fox, Hubert Fox, Samuel Fox and "ID" Fox.
She is survived by her two grandchildren, Brian K. Knight, Jr. and Jeanne B. Knight.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services.
Services plans are private per Betty's final wishes.
