Betty Louise Lowe, age 86, of Marble Hill, passed away peacefully on November 23rd, 2025. surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Ashville, North Carolina, on June 15th, 1939, to the late George Washington Caviness and Violet Viola Chumley. Betty was described as a caring, loving, joyful, and fiercely independent Wife, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, and Great Great Aunt. From a young age, she was passionate about gardening and spent many hours fishing.

In 1995, she met the love of her life, Carol Lowe. Her family was her ultimate passion, and she devoted herself to being the best wife, sister, aunt, and great aunt possible, a source of guidance, warmth, and wisdom.

Betty loved to spend time with loved ones, and her most extraordinary talent was finding joy in the small things and making everyone smile. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and the kindness she shared with everyone she met. She never met a stranger.

She is survived by her Sisters, Louise Epperson and Lois Caviness. Brothers, George (Judy) Caviness, Sammy Chumley. Nephews: Danny Epperson, Darrell (Chandra)Epperson, Don (Kay) Epperson, Scotty McCoy. Nieces, Linda (Larry) Conner, Sandra Pryor, Tina Tanner, and Sherry McCoy. Great Nieces, Jessica (Matthew) Phillips, Christy (Daniel) O'Dear. Tonya (Jamie) Williamson, Brittney (Steven) Allen, Macaela Trussell. Great Nephew, William Epperson. Great Great Nieces, Lillian Phillips, Kristen O'Dear, Hannah Williamson, Zoey Williamson, Phoebe Epperson, Mackenzie Epperson. Great Great Nephews, Bentley Phillips, Dawson Phillips, Rylan Epperson, Caleb O, Dear, Zack Williamson. Special Friend Carol Goforth. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Carol Lowe. Brothers, Ronnie Caviness and Marvin Caviness. Sisters, Ola Mae Douglas, Shirley Ann Caviness. Brother In-Laws, Quinton Epperson, Carol Lee Mccoy, Niece, Brenda Thomas. Nephew-in-law, Gary Cunningham. Great Nephew Wesly Epperson. Great Great Niece Kaylee Croy.

Family respects Betty Lowe's wishes. She will be cremated and does not want a service.
