Betty McBee Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jean White McBee, age 92, of Lewisburg, TN, died Saturday, March 2, 2024. Born in Hohenwald, TN, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Ellie Mae Dial Keel. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas White and second husband, Robert Bell McBee; a daughter, Sharon Mullins; son-in-law, David Powers; a sister, Faye Liggett; a brother, Lee Les. Also preceded in death by Jennie Brooks and Rosemary DeAngelis.
Mrs. McBee loved working with Ceramics, singing, dancing, working with flowers, and going to church.
Survived by 2 daughters, Brenda (Jay) Bruce and Linda Powers; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kay White; step-children, Bob and Rita McBee, Jerry and Virgil Cooper, Joanne DeHate, Liz and Joe Fabera; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 4 PM – 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Hopper Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
